The upcoming Wi-Fi 7 referred to as IEEE 802.11be can deliver extremely massive throughput thanks to its use of the 6GHz band with a wider 320MHz channel width. KAON BROADBAND’s Wi-Fi 7 PON Gateways with wider 320MHz, MLO, 16x16 MU-MIMO, 4K QAM and EasyMesh™R2 enable users to experience about 5 X super-faster speed & 4X peak rates than Wi-Fi 6E and lower latency for AR/VR performances and 8K video streaming as well as Business applications.
GPON, XGS-PON
KAON BROADBAND GPON devices were designed using the latest FTTH technology to provide the best QoS. GPON supports 2.5 Gbps downstream/ 1.25 Gbps upstream, and the improved XGS-PON supports 10 Gbps downstream and has an SFP+ interface. KAON BROADBAND PON/FTTH products of KAON BROADBAND are compliant with ITU-T G.984.x and OMCI for remote management.
Wi-Fi 5 / Wi-Fi 6 support
KAON BROADBAND PON/ FTTH LAN includes option of Wi-Fi 5 or the latest Wi-Fi 6 standard for enhanced performance. When used with dual band Wi-Fi ((2.4GHz & 5GHz) or tri-band Wi-Fi (2.4GHz, 5GHz, 5GHz) network extenders, it is useful for improving capacity and performance.
